Dennis Smith

Dennis won the NJ State Championship for Lenape Regional HS in 1968 and then on to Rutgers where he captained the team while earning his degree in Physical Education. Working on his Masters Degree at Trenton State College gave him his first taste of coaching and then in 1976 he became the head coach at Delran High School where he would stay until his retirement in 2012. After his only losing season Dennis would compile a record by the time of his induction of 578-164 -5 and would retire as the winningest Wrestling Coach in South Jersey History. His teams won 24 League and 10 District Championships and the South Jersey Group 2 titles in 1986 and 1992. Coach Smith had 65 District,24 Region and four State Champions including future NCAA Champion Brett Matter. Being awarded numerous District and Region Coach of the Years honors Dennis was named the State Coach of the Year in 1990 and the Harry E. Lake Award in 2009. Dennis also served as the Region President and on the NJWCA Executive Committee and was a member of the NJ wrestling Officials Association from 1973-83.

Ken Scott

A 1967 graduate of Lenape High School where he won a District 26 title at 148 lbs. Scott went on to win an NAIA title at Trenton State and was a member of its first Championship team. Taking a teaching position at Madison Central High School, Ken would for the next six years coach as an assistant at sister school Cedar Ridge. Over the next 28 years Scott would become the winningest coach in Middlesex County history at Madison Central and Old Bridge high schools with a 359-68-2 record. Team titles in the Districts 13 times,and the Central Jersey Sectional three times his team won the Group 4 State title in 1990. Add to those team honors four Middlesex County and 13 Divisional Championships while winning 53 individual championships. Ken has had 5 State Champions,28 medalists, 30 Region and 99 District Champions. A two time Region 5 Coach of the Year, Region 5 Hall of Famer and four time Conference Coach of the Year Ken Scott is retired to Pennsylvania
