Dan Dunlop

Dan Dunlop wrestled for Hall of Fame coach Pug Williams before going to Cornell University where he would place three times in the EIWA tournament at Heavyweight. Today he is one of the premier wrestling fundraisers in the USA having developed numerous fundraising programs and techniques so much so that the head wrestling position at Cornell is named in his honor. During his 38 years at Cornell he created and directed the college's major gift program to encourage gifts of 5 million dollars and up. from 1990-95 Dan served on the senior management team of the Cornell Campaign which set a record of 1.5 billion dollars in gifts. In 1987 Dunlop received the first James L. Fisher Award for professional achievement. In 1991 it was the Case Steuben Apple and 1996 the Institute of Charitable Giving honored him for his fund raising efforts. At the Case International Assembly in 200 presented him the Frank L. Ashmore Award and in 2005 he received the Lasting Difference Award from the Demont Difference Fund.
