Ted Resnick - North Hunterdon & NJWOA
Ted started in wrestling for Hall of Famer,Harold Vandermark at North Hunterdon HS . In 1965 Ted would head west to Midwestern College in Iowa to continue his education and wrestling but the sudden passing of his father would cause Ted to return to New Jersey to run the family business,the famous Flemington Department Store,a mainstay in Hunterdon County for decades. While running the business he would graduate from Rider University and embark in a new career as a wrestling official. During the next 30 years Ted would become a major figure in the NJWOA holding every executive position for executive officier to President. A state level official for his entire career Ted was honored by the NJWOA being awarded the Richard Mirshak Award in 2001.
Dave McMahon - Passaic Valley
Dave McMahon started the wrestling program at Passaic Valley High School where he coached for 27 years. One of the premier programs in Passaic county Dave's teams won 4 NJ State Championships and coached Jim Pagano,John Parr,and Anthony Surage to individual State championships. An outstanding football coach Dave coached Wayne Valley to a State Title in his tenure there. Dave has served as President of Region 2,President of the Passaic County Coaches Assn., and the New Jersey Wrestling Coaches Association. David recieved the prestigious Harry E. Lake Award in 1987 for his dedication to NJ Wrestling.
