Warren Reid
Warren follows his brother George into the Hall of Fame as he did in wrestling. Warren after a stint in the armed service gained All-American honors at Pueblo Jr. College and Oklahoma University. This 4 time All-American took over the wrestling program at the new Toms River East high School in 1976 and is the only coach the Raiders have known. A former Assistant Coach at the University of Alabama Warren has led his raiders to three A South Championships, eight District 24 titles, and qualified for the state sectionals twenty times placing second in the Group 4 section five times. These accomplishments have allowed his teams to be ranked #1 in Region 6 three times and eight times have finished in the top 10 in NJ. Warren's wrestlers have garnered six state championships,27 State Medals, 30 Regional titles and 69 District Championships. Coach Reid has also been a Coach for USA wrestling for 28 years and a volunteer official in both freestyle and Greco-Roman styles of wrestling. Working camps in Florida, Georgia as well as New Jersey Warren's dedication to wrestling is a lifestyle more than a sport. Coach Reid was select District Coach of the Year three times, as Well as Region and NJ State Coach of the Year in 1985. A member of Region 5 and 6 Halls of Fame Warren in 1988 was awarded the John J Hallisey Memorial Award for Outstanding Service.
Ken Pagach
As a coach for 30 years at Edison High School, Ken Pagach has been ranked in NJ's top 50 in wrestling coaching wins. His teams at Edison won nine District titles, finishing 2nd on eleven occasions, add to that three County titles, three Conference Championships along with twice winning the Warren Hills Tournament. Ken's wrestler have won two individual State titles, twelve State medalists including three finalists and 33 State Qualifiers made Edison a State power during his tenure. Coach Pagach's wrestlers also won 145 Tournament Championships as well as 285 finalists in tournament action. A twenty year member of the NJ wrestling Officials Assn. and 29 with the Coaches Association Ken served as State President, Region 5 President, and State ranking Chairman and is the founder of the State Ranking system still used today to determine the State Sectional qualifiers. Ken is a six time Times Coach of the Year and has been inducted into the NJ Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame and National HS Coaches Hall of Fame.
